Most sleep masks only cover your eyes. The Beside Sleep Hood wraps around your entire head, creating a darker, quieter place to rest. Its gentle, evenly distributed weight adds a comforting sense of calm without feeling bulky or restrictive.
What does the gentle weight do?
The Sleep Hood weighs approximately 6 oz, distributed evenly around the head rather than placed directly over the eyes. It is designed to feel like a soft hug and help you settle into rest.
Is the Sleep Hood completely light-blocking?
The Sleep Hood uses 99% light-blocking fabric together with a wraparound fit. For the best blackout, choose the correct size and position the curved edge comfortably around your nose and cheeks.
Is it scented?
No. The Sleep Hood is fragrance-free.
Is the Sleep Hood a medical device?
No. The Sleep Hood is designed for comfort and relaxation only. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition, and it does not guarantee a specific sleep outcome.
Fit & Comfort
Will it stay on all night?
Usually, yes. Its hood shape and gentle weight help it stay in place without a tight elastic strap. If you move frequently during sleep, you may occasionally need to readjust it.
Can I use it while side sleeping?
Yes. The Sleep Hood is soft and flexible, so it can be used while sleeping on your side or back, or while resting upright.
Will it feel hot at night?
The Sleep Hood is reversible, with a cool-touch side and a cozier side. Choose the surface that feels most comfortable for your room and your body.
Use & Care
Can I chill or warm the Sleep Hood?
You may chill it in a refrigerator or freezer. To warm it, use a standard microwave only, heating in 10-second increments and checking the temperature each time. Never use an oven, convection microwave, air fryer, dryer, direct heat, or a plate, tray, or container while heating.
What are the weighted beads made of?
The weight comes from sealed glass microbeads. They are permanently enclosed inside the Sleep Hood and are not intended to be removed.
How should I wash it?
Wash on a cold, gentle cycle at no more than 86°F (30°C) with mild detergent, then hang dry. Do not bleach, iron, dry clean, or tumble dry.
